Amy’s blog is back in business

I am sorry for the big break in blog posts. All of the sudden I became very busy—teaching, festivals, elections, planning vacations, family etc. But since this blog is the main way I document this trip, I am going to play catch-up this week to get everyone (and myself) up to current terms.
